In 1999, my now-husband & I arrived in Sarlat – a little bit dusty and weary, with no particular plan in mind – and we never left. I discovered a passion for properties – selling and renting them – and worked for a lovely local agent.
Life was good for many years, the market was buoyant, and we had a lot of fun in the Dordogne sun. Eventually we bought our forever home in Daglan, got married, and had two sons – family then became my main focus, as it has a habit of doing. The result, however, is that I have experienced many aspects of the French system first-hand, and can share that knowledge with you. After the boys became more independent, I happily returned to immobilier, and would love the opportunity to help you find your piece of paradise.
